The style is mostly 'Perpendicular' although the chancel is of Early English design. The octagonal bowled font dates from the 13th Century. Above the porch door are weathered effigies of The Virgin Mary with Child, flanked by St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist. The bell tower was erected at the end of the 15th Century and stands over 104 feet tall and nearly 120 feet to the top of the weather vane. One of the windows illustrated here
is from a group devoted to the figures of Faith, Hope , Charity and Purity accompanied by scenes enacting the Works of Mercy.
