Bledington is an attractive village with a large green and some excellent houses. The lovely church has remarkable Perpendicular clerestory windows, many with brilliant 15th Century glass. The four medallion windows illustrated on this page are dated 1479. The work was done under the auspices of Sir (or the Reverend) John Maleyn, a man who had been a person of some influence in Court Circles during the Civil War.
