St. Michael's was rebuilt in 1867-69, by F.R. Kempson of Hereford, in Forest stone with Bath stone dressings, except the tower which is in the Perpendicular style with battlements and diagonal buttresses. The church itself is Early English and Decorated and consists of a nave, chancel, North aisle, vestry and South porch. There are nave and chancel arcades with elaborately carved capitals that incorporate in stone realistic flowers, leaves, animals and birds. The encaustic floor tiles survive. There is stained glass in the church by T.F. Curtis, Ward & Hughes; and by A.J. Davies of Bromsgrove. There is a tablet monument in the chancel by Cooke of Gloucester.
