Retta Minnie Dolly
Retta Minnie Dolly, age 90, of Lahmansville, WV passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Grant Memorial
Hospital, Petersburg, WV.Born September 17, 1920 at Mouth of Seneca, WV, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Heavner and the
late Sylvia Turner Heavner.Mrs. Dolly was a homemaker raising eight children. She enjoyed gardening and canning. She was a member of
the Lahmansville United Methodist Church.Her husband, Roy Dolly preceded her in death on February 11, 1989.
Surviving Retta are six sons; Glenn Dolly and companion, Pam of Keyser, Bob Dolly and wife, Bonnie of
Lahmansville, Roger Dolly and wife, Judy of Aroda, VA, Bryon Dolly and wife, Barb of Manassas, VA, Tom Dolly of Petersburg, and Joe Dolly of Petersburg, two daughters; Wanda Pennington of Moorefield, and Norma Vosburgh and husband, Jeff of Lahmansville, one sister, Joy Keplinger and husband, Bobby of Arthur, 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.She was also preceded in death by four sisters; Bessie Dolly, Ruth Reed, Iva Kile, and Freda Heavner, and one
brother, Bryon Heavner.A funeral service was held Tuesday at the Chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home, Petersburg with Rev. Joseph
Eversole officiating. Burial and graveside services followed at the Lahmansville Cemetery in Lahmansville.Memorials may be made to the Lahmansville United Methodist Church or a charity of choice.

Shirley Pitsenbarger Rexrode, 97, of Brandywine, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Pendleton Manor in
Franklin, WV.She was born May 18, 1914 at Brandywine, WV and was the daughter of the late Martin Frank Propst and Julia
Ann Dickenson Propst.Mrs. Rexrode was a homemaker and had been assistant postmistress at Ft. Seybert. Shirley was a member of
Martin Luther Lutheran Church, Ft. Seybert Extension Homemakers Club, V.F.W. Post #966 Ladies Auxiliary and was the 1986 Pendleton County Belle.Her first husband, Everett Russell Pitsenbarger preceded her in death on November 5, 1953 and by her second
husband, Noah Rexrode preceded her in death on August 21, 1976.Surviving are one son, Gerald O. Pitsenbarger of Brandywine; one stepson, Norman Rexrode of Summersville;
one sister, Irene Stone of Harrisonburg, VA; one granddaughter, Paula Simmons of Monterey, VA; 11 stepgrandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren,and seven step-great-great-grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by one son, James Russell Pitsenbarger, two stepsons, Frederick Rexrode and
Marvin Rexrode, one stepdaughter, Mary Belle Dove, two brothers, Tyson Propst and Stanley Propst and two sisters, Helen Lough and Delsie Mitchell.Funeral services were held Saturday at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, with Pastor Calvin Bailey

William Thomas Blowe, III, 52, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2011 at his residence in Conway, SC.
Mr. Blowe was born in Annapolis, MD on June 23, 1959, the son of Roselee Hinkle Blowe, formerly of
Riverton, WV and currently of Edgewater, MD and the late William Thomas Blowe, Jr.He was employed with The Sheraton Broadway Plantation Resort of Myrtle Beach. Tom was an avid Nascar Fan
of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. being his favorite driver, also the Washington Redskins was his favorite football team. He enjoyed Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, restoring muscle cars, hunting, crabbing, and fishing.Tom grew up on Glebe Creek in Edgewater, MD.
His wife, of 28 years, Carolyn Blowe, survives.
Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are a son, William Thomas Blowe IV; a daughter, Jenifer Nicole
Riddei and son-in-law, Steven Riddei; a granddaughter, Kailyn Riddei all of Conway; eight brothers & sisters, Donna Ann Griffith , Vicki Thomas, Edie Squires and Charlie Kamm, Eddie and Denise Blowe, Rosie Blowe all of Edgewater, MD, Patricia Ann Luttrell of Loudon, VA, Linda Hodson of Staunton, VA, and Tommy and Nancy Blowe of Herndon, VA; mother-in-law, Betty Aliff of Bunkerhill ; brothers-in-law, Wayne & Patty Aliff of Hedgesville, Ronnie Aliff, David Aliff, Dennis Aliff all of Bunkerhill, and Junior and Debbie Aliff of Conway, SC; nieces and nephews, Chad Griffith, Dwayne Aliff, Brian Aliff, Charlene Aliff, Candy Johnson, Michael Purcell, T.J. Aliff, Nicki Blowe, Deaven Squires, Curtis Aliff, Kasey Blowe, Kyle Martin Mendoza; and several great-nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Ann Anthony; father-in-law, Walter Oliver Aliff, Sr.
A graveside service was held Saturday at North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton with interment following.
Memorial services will be at the Riverwalk in Conway on September 4 at 3 p.m.with Pastor Kevin Childs
officiating.Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-2794.
