Wanda Delores Rexrode
Wanda Delores Rexrode, 74, of Sugar Grove and formerly of Akron, OH, passed away on Friday morning, April
5, 2013 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin.She was born Jan. 12, 1939 at Cherry Grove, and was the daughter of the late Bob Raines and Nola Hinkle
Raines.Mrs. Rexrode was a 1980 graduate of Akron School of Nursing, where she received her LPN degree. She
faithfully attended St. John Lutheran Church, enjoyed flowers, gardening, fishing, being outdoors, caring for and helping people.On March 14, 1956, she married Dolen G. Rexrode, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Bonetta Guyetta and husband, Bob of Akron, OH, Kendra Shriver and
husband, Matt of Akron, OH; two sons, Michael Rexrode and wife, Robin of Cherry Grove, Sheldon Rexrode and wife, Christine of Akron, OH; 10 grandchildren, one of whom she raised, Kaila Rexrode, Mattie and Kody Shriver, Sara, Cora and Sy Rexrode and Zachary, Kristy, Angelica and Tiffany Rexrode.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobbie Raines and Bernard Raines and one sister, Leah Belle
Warner.Funeral services were held at 11a.m.Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church at Moyers with Pastors Jason & Jess
Felici officiating. Burial was at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 124 Black Thorn Road, Sugar Grove, WV 26815.

Lowell McGuinness, 70
Lowell Julian McGuinness, age 70, of Petersburg passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Winchester Medical
Center in Winchester, VA.He was born May 30, 1942 in Brushy Run and was a son of the late William Oga McGuinness and Etta Olive
(Alt) McGuinness.Mr. McGuinness worked for General Motors in Baltimore, MD for several years and was a self employed
automobile mechanic.He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Franklin.
Surviving are two sons, Lowell Edward McGuinness of Baltimore, MD and James Darrell McGuinness of
Martinsburg; several grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Alt of BelAir, MD, Patsy (Frank) Lawson of Baltimore, MD, Mary Etta (Maurice Junior) Pennington of Scherr; several nieces and nephews including Mike McGuinness and Christa Jo Roberts; special caregiver, Bethany Wilson.He was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur McGuinness, Melvin McGuinness and James McGuinness;
one sister, Evelyn Kimble and two infant sisters, Juanita and Violet McGuinness.Funeral service were held Tuesday at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Rohrbaugh officiating.
Interment was in the Cherry Hill Cemetery in Upper Tract.

Sharon Crites, 59
Sharon Jean (VanMeter) Crites, age 59, of Dorcas, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at her
home.She was born September 1, 1953 in Petersburg and was a daughter of the late Garfield L. VanMeter and Virginia
(Mongold) VanMeter.She was a member of the Moorefield Church of God.
Her husband of 41 years, Roger E. Crites, survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kim Nesslerodt and husband Wade of Fisher, Pam Crites of Dorcas; two
grandchildren, Kassidy Pratt and Brendan Nesslerodt; four sisters, Catherine Phares, resident of Grant County Nursing Home, Lucy Calhoun of Upper Tract, Libby Judy and husband Delmer of Petersburg, Linda Ritchie of Harrisonburg, VA; several nieces and nephewsShe was also preceded by three sister, her twin sister, Karen Whetzel, Betty Whetzel and Bonnie Baldwin and
several brother-in-laws.Funeral services were held Friday at Dorcas Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Davis and Rev. Carolyn Berg
officiating. Interment was in North Mill Creek Cemetery in Dorcas.Memorials may be made to the family, c/o Roger E. Crites, 39 Memory Lane, Dorcas, WV 26847.
