Samuel F. Ware |
8 Mar 1978 Samuel F. Ware, 84, a resident of Junior, died at 2:37 a.m. Monday, in the Memorial General Hospita following an extended illness. He was born May 9, 1893, in Barbour County, a son of the late Peter and Henrietta Williams Ware. On April 6, 1913, he married Flossie Mae Swick, who preceded him in death. Surviving are five sons; Theodore, Kermit, Denzil and Gerald Ware, all of Rt. 1, Belington; Otis Ware, Atglen, Pa.; four daughters; Mrs. Harley (Zelma) Vanscoy, Norton, Miss Thelma Ware, at home, Mrs. Austin (Anne) Blake Jr. of Junior, Mrs. Charles (Emma Jean) McKenney, Etters, Pa.; 33 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. One daughter, one brother and three sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Ware was a retired employee
of Lipscomb Coal Company and a member of the Ware Chapel Church of Christ. |
