Ernest M. Weese1922-2005 |
5 Oct 2005 Mr. Ernest M. Weese, 83, a resident of Route 2, Belington, departed this life at 11:15 p.m. Monday evening, Oct. 3, 2005, at the Talbott Personal Care Home in Belington following a lengthy illness. He was born July 11, 1922, at Montrose, a son of the late Eligah and Lennie Moore Weese. On Sept. 16, 1950, at Belington, he was united in marriage to the former Elsie Marie Phillips, who preceded him in death Oct. 10, 2003. He is survived by one daughter, Letha Marsh of Ohio; two sisters, Emma Poling and husband, Otis, of Montrose and Erma Wolford of Elkins; one brother, Earl Weese and wife, Verda, of Montrose; and three grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Ensel and Emory Weese. Mr. Weese attended the schools of Randolph County, was employed for many years in the sawmill business, and along with his wife, ran the family farm for many years. He was a Methodist by faith. Home, 210 Brandenburg St. in Belington Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted at 2 p.m. from the funeral home
chapel with the Rev. Walter Blough officiating. Interment will follow
in the Fraternal Cemetery at Belington. At the request of the deceased,
the casket will remain closed. Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is
in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Ernest M. Weese. From . |
