In Search of . . . the mother of Daniel F. Lee (born 1840 and died June 29, 1901 in Danville, IL), and Jane Walker Lee (born about 1833 in Burlington, VT and died September 14, 1893 in Kankakee, IL.  Their fathers name was William H. Lee and according to census records he was born about 1804 in Vermont.

William H. Lee is listed as a Blacksmith on census records.  The family resided in Burlington until about 1852.  They moved to Brasher, St. Lawrence County, NY where William H. Lee died in 1867.
