My ancestor Nathaniel DAVIS is found in the 1850 Marion County, Tn Census. He is listed as being born in Virginia. @ 1766. I am trying to find out if he might have been born in Washington County, Virginia. His daughter Hannah Davis married James Ellis @ 1804 in either Carter or Washington County, Tennessee. Does anyone know of any DAVISES that might have been in Washington County Va. at this early date.

I need information on Sneed Washington ROBERTS who was b. aug. 1856. He was son of John W. Roberts and Delila Boyer Roberts. He later married Johanna FLEENOR. I don't know the dates . They had a son mentioned as Glean. I think Sneeds wife died at an young age. Sneeds mother Delila Roberts later moved in to help to care of the home and children. In a 1893 letter Sneed was having a home built by a Mr. Will GOBBLE. other names in the letter were Griff Fleenor and Bram Fleenor. I think Sneed is buried in the FLEENOR cemetery , as well as his mother and wife. Any info on Sneed and his wife and family would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Need info on David Cole born in Washington Co,VA on Nov. 9, 1777 and later moved to Clinton County, Kentucky around 1817. I would like to know if he is related to Israel Cole III or Joseph Cole.It is possible he would be a grandson of Israel or son of Joseph. Taxpayer records from this county for 1782-1789 state there were two Coles: Israel Cole and Joseph Cole who paid taxes in those years.
