I am trying to find a connection from Tolbert's in Washington County to Tolbert's in Floyd County Virginia. I have a copy of a will of Josiah TOLBERT who's spouse was Bersheba. He only mentions his wife and 2 grandchildren one being a Josiah Tolbert and the other his sister Jane Tolbert, both of these being the children of Leonard Tolbert. Can anyone give me any information about this family? The will was actually recorded in Randolph Co. N.C. may 1855. It was written on Jan.20,1854. Thanks, Tammy Tolbert Hudson

Looking for information on the Edward Bond and William Bond who settled in 1770's on Beaver Creek in Washington Co. Believe they may be related to the Thomas Holland who also registered land on Beaver Creek. William Bond and wife Frances sold their land in 1790's and moved to KY Trying to find out what happened to Edward Bond - in 1777 he was accused (and acquited) of killing his neighbor Thomas Jones. He appears in several other court records in Washington Co.
