I found a mention of Daniel Lockett operating a mill and tanyard in the 1820s in the neighborhood of the "present" Walton Furnace, perhaps in Fincastle Co. Edmund Lockett operated a still house and saw mill in the same area in 1840s. And in 1840s-50s, Edmund Lockett operated from Red Bluff and Cripple Creek Forge. Help!
