Would like to find inforamtion on Henry BOYD that is found on the census for Washington Co., VA in 1810 and 1820. He is not there in 1830. Has anyone researched the BOYD'S of Washington Co., VA. He had 5 daughters living with him in 1820. Would love to find the names of these daughters. Also living in Washington County in the same time frame was Bartlot and Jeremiah BOYD. They are found in Washington Co., TN as early as 1816. Is there a connection between these 3 BOYDS? Would like to correspond with anyone who has worked on this family.

Logan Wallis and his wife Anna Chiles Wallis left Washington County Virginia with their children: Irene, William C., James Mitchell, Martha Jane, Henry Dickenson and Zacariah Jordan, in 1837. They are found in the 1840 census of Hancock County Indiana, and the 1850 census of Van Buren County Iowa. He layed out the town of Milton Iowa in 1851. We are writing the history of Milton Iowa and I would like to contact family members in an attempt to obtain a photo of Logan Wallis. While in Virginia he operated an inn,but he was addressed as Dr. Wallis in Indiana and Iowa. He died in Milton Iowa Feb 9, 1861.
