THREE WASHINGTON COUNTY FAMILIES IN BARLOW BOOK

"Ancestors of Edna Katherine & Pearl May Barlow" covers nine major
ancestral lines of these two sisters. Their father, Charles Jesse Barlow,
was born in Washington Co., VA in 1856. He was the son of Joseph Barlow
and Sarah Robinson--both born in Washington Co. The book takes the
Robinson ancestors back to Sarah's great grandfather, John Robinson, Sr.
(d. Rockbridge Co. 1789) and her maternal side back to her grandfather,
Moses Edmiston (d. Washington Co. 1806).

In the 167-page paperback, 48 pages are devoted to these three families and
Washington Co. As a result of the author's research in the State Archives
in Richmond, VA and in original Washington Co. records, much new data was
uncovered and published for the first time.
