Air Force plane crashes in Seguin

Air Force plane crashes in Seguin
A large Air Force plane crashed and burned on the Richard Grein property east of Seguin Thursday noon.
Only the sketchiest information was available at the scene of the crash.
It was believed that the plane exploded and burned after crashing into a heavily wooded area.
A ditch approximately six feet deep and nearly 30 feet long was plowed into the ground at what appeared to be the main point of impact.
Wreckage and small fires covered an area estimated at a square mile.  Parts of crew member's bodies also scattered over the scene.
Many Seguin people reported hearing the explosion. Some said they felt their house quiver after the explosion.
