I am in search of information on my uncle and aunt, Walter & Berta EVANS who resided in Cisco during the early 1900's. They had two or three children. The only one I can remember is a daughter named Betty Lou. She would be about seventy at this time.
About 1940 uncle Walter had a house moving company in Cisco. I
have lost track of him and his entire family. If you, or one of

AYERS, HOPPER
I'm searching for info on the AYERS families, who came to Texas from Georgia, arriving in Feb. 1899. My grandfather was James Robert AYERS, married to Anne Elizabeth HOPPER. Their last 3 children of 8 were born in Comanche and Brown County, Texas. I think they lived near May, Texas and are buried in the May Cemetery. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

I need information on MARION FRANK GENTRY (b. July 7, 1871 in Denton Texas.) On death cert. shows birth date and place. I have no information on his father or mother living in Denton. I am looking for any information on my Great Grandparents. They both died in Eastland County. I have Ranger as there place of death. Their names are Joseph Coleman Stewart and Nancy Louise Compton. Joseph was born 1 March 1856 and died 24 October 1936. Nancy was born 5 February 1859 and died 14 April 1950. I think they were originally from somewhere in Georgia, but I am not sure.

My GG Gp, John S Beeman was killed in the June 1893
tornado in Cisco, Eastland Co. He was living with my G. Gm,
Gillie Ferguson and her family. My grandma Sarah Isabelle was 19
at the time. Her half sister Ima was 3 month's old at the time
and she died 3 years ago at the age of
102. Aunt Ima told me the story many times. Do
you have any info on this tornado, newspaper write-ups?

I am searching for descendants of Maggie Miller Warren Sawyer. I
know she had a daughter Nora Warren about 1909. When Maggie
Sawyer died in Eastland in 1964, she had nine grandchildren. Nora
had already died but would be the mother of the nine
grandchildren. I do not know who Nora married but it is possible
that some of her children still live around Eastland. Any

Elizabeth in Kaufman County in 1880. He married Elizabeth Ballard
on Jan. 8, 1878 in Eastland County, Texas. He supposedly was born
in Kentucky and his parents born in Virginia He was born about
1850 and Elizabeth was born about 1860. I am trying to get any
information on Thomas ESTILL and when he died. He had a daughter
that they named Martha Francis ESTILL. We believed he must have
died somewhere in the 1880's. Any information on Thomas ESTILL
would be appreciated.

year, who was in turn shot by Elizabeth's father, Ezra Eli HEAD.
Who was McPHAUL and who was JEFFRIES? At age 15, Elizabeth
married T.A. EVANS in Eastland County. Who was EVANS and
what happened to him? (The following June, she married Wesley

I am just starting my family tree. I know that my Great-Great
Grandfather Louis Von Ford (born August 20, 1896)and his brother
George Ford bought land from a George Dawson in 1919. My
G-G-Grandparents owned a 32 room hotel named Olden Hotel. (beside
Highway 80). My great uncle Louis Glen Adams was born here in
1920 Uncle George was married to a lady named Ida. She had a
parrot named "Dick". he lived til he was 42 yrs.old. My
GreatGrandfather was named Lloyd Glen Adams. (Born July 20,1896)
He was married to Olive Laura Ford.(Born Jan 31, 1900 Died Aug 3,
1982). My GGrandmother Olive was the Postmaster for 8 yrs.

1928. and 2 yrs later she remarried a man named Jack Van
Stephens. They went to Oklahoma to get married. My Grandmother's
name is Laura Jean Adams Crawford (B Nov. 11, 1918). She married
Noufulus Baldridge Crawford (B Jan 3, 1914 D Nov 9,1970). Parents
of Grandfather are Jesse Pitt Crawford and Ollie Davis (D 1918)
and 2nd Mildred Roberts (B june 18,? D Dec 10, 1984). Jesse
Crawford was the son of Thomas Crawford (B Dec 9, 1859 D Oct 25,
1892) and Almeda Waldrop (Born Feb 15, 1864 D June 6, 1930)
Before her death she was married to a man with the surname

Wm Keller married Winnie Hobbs, of Eastland and or
Cleburne, Tx they had three children that I know of Mary Keller b
around 1880 d 1963 in Williamson Co, Jarrell Tx, buried at Corn
Hill Cemetery . married to James DeVerney Yarbrough, Ethel Keller
married to a Mantooth and a JD Keller. There was several
members of our family that said Winnie was part INDIAN and we
have pictures of her and even her mother but do not have any
other info
Mary and James also had a son JD Yarbroughb around 1910 d
around 1924 who died at age 14 of appendicitis and we cant find
his grave. They had two other children George Wright Yarbrough b
1904 d 1937 and Mable Yarbrough Breeden .
