Larso, 90, longtime resident of t he Ericksdahl Community and Stamford died Sunday May 29, 1988 at the Stamf ord Memorial Hospital. His service was Tuesday May 31, 1988 at the Beth el Lutheran Church in Ericksdahl, then burial in the DeLeon Cemetery th at afternoon. He married Valda Roch March 15, 1935 in DeLeon. They mov ed to Ericksdahl in 1945 where they farmed until 1975 when Mr. Larson reti red. In 1978 the Stamford Chapter of Future Farmers of America presented M r. Larson of Wahoo, Neb raska, three nephews, and one niece. I did find a record of his death in the Comanche Co., Courthouse in t he "Record of Deaths" book.

The internet Tex as Death Record indicates that Jewett was married at the time of his deat h. I was not aware that he had ever married and to date I have not been ab le to confirm this fact.

 Nell and her first husband, Ernest Elwood Belyeu had two boys named Jam es Edward and Joice Delbert Belyeu. I believe Nell's oldest son James Edwa rd Belyeu is buried at Proctor Cemetery also even though all of the dat es are not accurate. I think the birth date is right but the death da te is off by 2 years. It is believed he died in 1948.  Edward was kill ed in a car accident when he hit a telephone pole. Joice Belyeu was sh ot in a hunting accident and may have been disabled as he collected Soci al Security until his death in 1977 in Tarrant Co.

I learned that he was in Wichita Co. w orking the oil fields when I found his 1917 WWI Draft Registration a nd he had registered there. By the 1930 census Ernest, the oldest son Jam es Edward, & the youngest son Joice Delbert were in Taylor Co., TX with Er nest's parents. They may have been in Abilene, Taylor, TX. It appears th at Nell & Ernest had separated & or divorced as she was not in Taylor Co ., with them. I do know that Nell G. married John Lee & Ernest E. marri ed Amogene Carnes & had 2 & possibly 3 more children by the second wife.
