This indenture made this 27th day of March 1841 between WILLIAM MOSLEY of Weakley County, Tennessee of the one part and THOMAS E. MOSLEY, ELIZABETH COLE, wife of MOSES E. COLE and her children, JOHN W. ROGERS and THOS. L. COLE and GEORGE B. MOSLEY, WILLIAM MOSLEY, GREEN MOSLEY, REBECCA I. AUSBURN wife of WILLIAM AUSBURN, MARTHA MOSLEY and WILLIAM T. MOSLEY, MARY A. MOSLEY, MOSES MOSLEY, HILLERY MOSLEY, the last five are children of ARTHUR MOSLEY all of the County of Weakley except the children of ARTHUR MOSLEY those of Gibson County, Tennessee of the second part. 

Witnesseth that for the natural love and affection I bear to my children and grandchildren above named and the consideration that they support me and their mother and grandmother during our natural life.  I have this day bargained, sold and delivered to them and their heirs and a assignees the following property to wit - one tract of land lying in Weakley County containing sex hundred and forty acres it being the tract of land where one I live granted to HENRY A. COLEMAN, one negro man named WASHINGTON, one negro man by the name of CHRISTOPHER, one negro boy JOHN, one negro boy HAGEN, one negro boy named DANIEL, negro woman named BETSY, one negro woman named BETTY, one negro woman named MARY, one negro girl named JOANNA, also three head of horses also eight head of (page 201) cattle also one wagon and three yoke of oxen about fifty head of hogs also fifteen head of sheep also a second tract of land lying in the County of Gibson, Tennessee containing six hundred and forty acres where ARTHUR C. MOSLEY now lives purchased of the said HENRY A. COLEMAN, to have and to hold the aforesaid property to them the said THOS. E MOSLEY, ELIZABETH COLE, JOHN W. ROGERS, THOS. L. COLE GEORGE B. MOSLEY, WILLIAM MOSLEY, GREEN MOSLEY, REBECCA J. AUSBURN, HILLERY MOSLEY, WILLIAM T. MOSELY, MARY A. MOSLEY, MOSES MOSLEY, MARTHA MOSLEY AND HILLERY MOSLEY their heirs and assignees and the said WILLIAM MOSLEY covenanting with the aforesaid parties that he warrants and defends the titles to of the aforesaid property against the claim of all and every person whatever.
