Will of Sampson ALEXANDER, deceased

I, Sampson ALEXANDER, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me made at any time.  first, I direct that any just debts all be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any monies that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor.  Secondly, I give and bequeath to my wife Beeley ALEXANDER, the tract of land that I now live on, containing one hundred and twenty acres, more or less, together with all the perishable property that I have pertaining to my estate, during her natural life or widowhood.  At her death, the estate is to be equally divided between my children herein named, to wit, Francis A. ALEXANDER, Joel B. ALEXANDER, Thomas J. ALEXANDER, Ann L. ALEXANDER.  as regards the heirs of my son William R. ALEXANDER, I consider I have done, as much or more for his heirs than I am able to give the rest.  I consider that I give him one hundred and fifty acres of land, horse, saddle and bridle, cow and calf, and other things not herein mentioned.  Lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint my wife Beely, my Executor.  In witness whereof, I do to this my will set me hand and seal this the 10th day of March 1850, reserving the privilege of making any alterations at any time I see proper.

I, Sampson ALEXANDER, hereby revoke this my will as far as the land is concerned, as I have determined to sell it to Mr. CARTER.  Given under my hand and seal this the 24th day of December 1853.
