| John Marshall Smith, grandfather of Jessie above and father of Eva and Lloyd, gave the land for the school to be built on the edge of his farm. It was given the name"Smiths Chapel" in honor of his gift of the land on which it was built. It was located at Pillowville Community, Weakley County, Tennessee. It was on the Christmasville Road opposite Seminary Methodist Church. All the Smith family were members of this Church.....J. Richard Drewry |
