Stephen and Martha Goldsby lived in Amherst Co., VA until his death in 1782. His son James Goldsby moved To Green Co., KY, then on to Henry Co., TN, and finally settling in Weakley Co., TN about 1825. This Bible was passed down to James' son, Stephen Goldsby, who was a justice of the peace of Weakely Co. during the 1840s. Stephen's family Is not listed in the Bible, but his son, Elias Akin Goldsby's and daugher, Nancy (Goldsby) McElroy's families are included on separate pages. Page 1
