WELCOME

Welcome to Calhoun County! We are excited to have you visit our site, and we hope that we have been of some help by the time you leave. Please take your time looking through our records and archives we have posted here. In addition to that, if you have documents or things you would like to see added, contact us!

Did you know...? The Lewisville Post Office was changed to St. Matthews on February 17, 1842 (from South Carolina Postal History 1760-1860).

WHAT'S NEW THIS MONTH!

We've got some new obituaries, Bible records, and a fantastic survey of the Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery. Andrew Chapel is actually located in Swansea, in Lexington county, but you'll recognize many of the family names.
