The Oregon State Society C.A.R. elected a new president, Alyssa Odman, during the 2016 Oregon State Society C.A.R. Conference on March 12th.

As a state society, we sponsor several activities through the year. Our first will be our leadership workshop/campout. We then have a program meeting in conjuction with the state SAR/DAR/C.A.R. picnic on August 2016. In November, we enter a float into the Albany Veteran's Day parade. The Albany parade is billed the largest veteran's day parade on the west coast. We have received an award in the youth division float catagory for the last 6 years. The highlight of the year is our state conference in March. This year we celebrated our 81st state conference.
