(VON)BEHRENS -- Charles Spitzer was born in Germany in 1810. He was an innkeeper in Chippewa in the 1860's. His daughter, Rosina Spitzer married Conrad Von Behrens, from Germany. The families moved to Niagara County, NY in the early 1870's. Does anyone have any knowledge of this family?

Walker -- William Walker Sr. b.1743 poss. Ireland or North Carolina d.1819 Grimsby Twp. 1st m.1767 poss. Ireland or North Carolina, Sarah (Unknown) b.1746 d.1806 Grimsby Twp. William 2nd m.aft.1806, Elizabeth Baldwin b.1762 d.1817 Grimsby Twp.
William was a Loyalist and served in the army of Lord Cornwallis. He named his home "Walker Hall", which still stands on the shore of Lake Ontario in Clinton Twp. on the original Crown lands granted to him in 1794. The Hall is now a teashop and is no longer owned by the Walker family. St. Andrew's Presbyterian Churchyard, Grimsby, The inscriptions and dates read: "Erected to the memory of William Walker Sr. who departed this life October 22 1819, in the 76th year of his age." "Here lies the body of Sarah Walker, b.1746, wife of William Walker who departed this life the 6th day of April 1806, in the 60th year of her age." "Sacred to the memory of Elizabeth Walker, second wife of William Walker. Born 1762, she departed this life on June 25, 1817 in the 55 th year of her age."

Walker -- Searching for information on Allen and Anna Walker, parents of Gideon Allen Walker b. 1836 d. 1897, married to Eliza Johnson daughter of James & Andelius Johnson.  Also there was a son James born abt. 1838 m. to Catherine Johnson , and a son Reed b. abt 1841 m. to Nancy Daiken. As of now these are the only children I have for Allen and Anna Walker. Gideon and Reed were listed in the Norfolk County Marriage Register 1858 - 1869. James was listed in the Oxford County Marriage Reg. I have not been able to trace the parents in Norfolk Cty. so I thought possibly to try the surrounding area. Would appreciate any information anyone can give me.

WATTS -- I'm seeking information about Joseph WATTS of Grimsby, Lincoln co., Ontario. Born in 1834 in Leicestershire, England he came to Ontario and married Catharine HOPKINS (1842-1917) of Grimsby. Catharine was the daughter of Thomas HOPKINS of Grimsby. Joseph WATTS died 1892 in Lewiston, New York. Joseph & Catharine had a daughter Jane (aka 'Jen')(1862-1937). She had a child by Walter P. PALMER (1851-1907) of Grimsby. Any information helpful.

Weller -- My great grandparents were born and married in Merriton, Ontario. Their names were Jonathan and Bidney Jackson, and thier date of marriage was March 26, 1877. Jonny was born Feb 26, 1853 and Bidney was born June 27, 1856. Any information you can give me on either of them would be greatyl appreciated. Wessels -- I am looking for info on a AIDA MAUD WESSELS and E. ANNABEL WESSELS.  They are buried in the First Presbyterian Cemetery in Pelham, Welland County. I would like to have an address for the church to write to and any information I can get on these two and their families.

Wever/Weaver -- Seeking any info on family from Alsace Lorraine, France. In the 1871 census I found that they were in this district, but later lived on Grenadier Island. Original name was Tisserand, changed to English translation upon arrival to Ontario. Michael WEAVER m. Catherine ?, their daughter Catherine, b. 1824, married Joseph SENECAL.

Whitwell -- Susan Whitwell appears in the 1861-1901 Niagara censuses as a widow. Who was her husband? Any connection to Susannah Stevens, same age, who appeared in 1851 Niagara census with Susan Whitwell's children?

WILLIAMS -- I am looking for the Christopher Williams family who emigrated to Ontario from Ireland in 1851. His son Christopher moved to the Niagara area some time in the later part of the century. The family lived in the Niagara area from that time on to the present day. Christpher's son Jame's Walker Williams was my great-grandfather. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

WILLSON --  Lloyd Alfred Willson, farmer in the Smithville area, Married to a lady named Fitz, (unsure 0f the spelling) whose family apparently still live in the Smithville area. He was born Feb 16, 1885-7 and had some brothers. Glen, Harley, Wilfred. His wife died and he married a lady named Annie, nee Boughner, in the Hamilton area. His daughters, June, and Luella LaVera (my mother). He served in WW1 nad I have requested info on these names previously mentioned. Lloyd apparently was born in Attercliffe, as a farmer, moved to Smithville and farmed. When his fiorst wife died he moved to Beamsville and worked in the quarry. At the War he was released in Hamilton and began a relationship with his brothers wife Annie. His brother Glen was released in Hamilton and never returned to his wife, Annie

YOKUM  --  I am searching for the mother of HULDAH YOKOM, born ca. 1810-1814 Crowland, married to Benjamin F PRATT, Huldahs mother was named CHRISTINA ? married Richard YOKOM, born 1774 Mifflin, Montgomery Co. PA to Crowland, ca. 1800.
The YOCUM spelling is the family spelling, to YOKOM, in Canada.  I have a lot of infoon this YOKOM family but need to find Christina, may also be called NANCY.

Yorke -- Looking for information on Silas Vandevere YORKE who moved to the Niagara region about 1808. He fought in the War of 1812 first with the 3rd Lincoln Flank Company then in the Incorporated Militia. He was married to Anne ? and had 4 children. Any assistance would be gratefully accepted.

Zimmerman -- Looking for information on and parents of Peter ZIMMERMAN (b.c1832 France?)and Lorinda BARBER (b. 24 Nov. 1837). She is the daughter of Norton BARBER. They were married on 12 Sept. 1854, he being listed on Marriage Certificate as being from Louth and her from Clinton.
