His daughter, Rosina Spitzer married Conrad Von Behrens, from Germany. The families moved to Niagara County, NY in the early 1870's. Does anyone have any knowledge of this family? Submitted by: W Walker Walker -- Searching for information on Allen and Anna Walker, parents of Gideon Allen Walker b. 1836 d. 1897, married to Eliza Johnson daughter of James & Andelius Johnson. Also there was a son James born abt. 1838 m. to Catherine Johnson , and a son Reed b. abt 1841 m. to Nancy Daiken. As of now these are the only children I have for Allen and Anna Walker. Gideon and Reed were listed in the Norfolk County Marriage Register 1858 - 1869. James was listed in the Oxford County Marriage Reg. I have not been able to trace the parents in Norfolk Cty. so I thought possibly to try the surrounding area. Would appreciate any information anyone can give me. Born in 1834 in Leicestershire, England he came to Ontario and married Catharine HOPKINS (1842-1917) of Grimsby. Catharine was the daughter of Thomas HOPKINS of Grimsby. Joseph WATTS died 1892 in Lewiston, New York. Joseph & Catharine had a daughter Jane (aka 'Jen')(1862-1937). She had a child by Walter P. PALMER (1851-1907) of Grimsby. Any information helpful. Any connection to Susannah Stevens, same age, who appeared in 1851 Niagara census with Susan Whitwell's children? His son Christopher moved to the Niagara area some time in the later part of the century. The family lived in the Niagara area from that time on to the present day. Willson, farmer in the Smithville area, Married to a lady named Fitz,
(unsure 0f the spelling) whose family apparently still live in the Smithville
area. He was born Feb 16, 1885-7 and had some brothers. Glen, Harley,
Wilfred. His wife died and he married a lady named Annie, nee Boughner,
in the Hamilton area. His daughters, June, and Luella LaVera (my mother).
He served in WW1 nad I have requested info on these names previously mentioned.
Lloyd apparently was born in Attercliffe, as a farmer, moved to Smithville
and farmed. When his fiorst wife died he moved to Beamsville and worked
in the quarry. At the War he was released in Hamilton and began a relationship
with his brothers wife Annie. His brother Glen was released in Hamilton

He fought in the War of 1812 first with the 3rd Lincoln Flank Company then in the Incorporated Militia. He was married to Anne ? and had 4 children. Any assistance would be gratefully accepted.
