that left Warrick county, IN to settle in Okeene, Blaine, OK after 1910.
Their names were Enos MILES, his wife, Rose Ann, also Enos MILES' Mother,Mary

George L. MAYHEW was listed on the 1920 Geary, Blaine Co., OK census record.
His wife was Nell B. (perhaps DONELY, an educated guess). I know that George
died abt June 1940. Is he buried in Blaine Co., OK? One family member thinks
George was a college professor. Is this true? George had two known children
Virginia and George Livingston, both of whom were living August 1941. Did
they marry? What happened to them?

farmed in Blaine Cty, in or near Hitchcock Oklahoma in the early 1900's.
I believe they both died in an influenza epidemic around 1919, leaving orphaned
two sons, James Raymond Clegg (1914-1971)and Robert Lee Clegg (1916-198?).

I am trying to locate ancestory info for Gottfried Haffner and Katherine
Winter Haffner. They lived in Blaine county . I am trying to locate the names
of Gottfried's parents, and or siblings. I know of 2 people that tried to
order a copy of Gottfried Haffner's death certificate and were told there
was no record of his death. He did die in Blaine county. I was told there
was a fire around the time after his death and all records were destroyed.
Is there any one that would know another route to go to obtain the name of
Gottfried's parents. Katherine, his wife was the sister of Leonhart Winter,
also from the area. I have contacted several Haffner cousins that have also
had no luck with his parentage. He was born in Russia.

I would like to find any one who knows of Chloe Ellen ? who married Ben F.
WRITER in the early 1920's. He was the son of Frank and Louisa WRITER. She
supposed to be buried in Fountain Cemetery in BLAINE OK. They were only married
a couple of months, when she was accidentally shot a friend in a hunting
accident in Jackson Co., OK. She was only 16 years at the time and had been
living with an aunt and uncle who farmed there.

I am trying to locate the names of all of the siblings, and even his grandfathers
name. He was the son of Jacob Winter and Eva Seibert. He had a sister, Katherine
(AKA Katrina Haffner), a brother Jacob Winter, a brother Frederick Winter,
a brother Gottfried Winter, a brother Conrad Winter, and two other brothers
that no one can remember the names for. His sister, Katherine married Gottfried
Haffner, I am trying to locate the names of Gottfried Haffner's parents and

I am wondering if anyone in Blaine county can help me out?? I was born in
Watonga, Ok My great great grandfather is Gottfried HAFFNER, married to Katherine
Elizabeth Winter Haffner. They both passed away in Omega, Oklahoma. I am
trying to locate Gottfried's Parents but I am told there was a fire that
destroyed his death certificate. Someone has suggested the funeral home.
He died on April 25, 1924 in Omega and is buried in the Seventh Day Adventist
Cemetery. Would anyone know what funeral home may have taken care of the
funeral arrangements in 1924 that would still have the info that was given
to the Oklahoma Vital records dept??

Chlora O. Thomas Writer--I am looking for information on the family of Chlora
(Chloe) Thomas. She lived in Blaine Co., OK in 1921. She was 16 years of
age then,and lived with an aunt and uncle on a farm just west of Leonel.
She married Ben F. Writer, then 21, from a farm east of Leonel, where his
parents, Frank and Louisa Writer lived. Then the couple moved to Jackson
Co., OK where she was accidentally killed in a hunting accident. She is supposed
to be buried in Fountain Cemetery in Blaine Co. I would like to get in contact
with anyone who knew her or her family, or had a school yearbook with her
