Elder D. & Keziah Jane (Randall) Lindsey

Mr. Lindsey was born at Valley Farm, near Hollidaysburg, Pa., May 5, 1821, and in April, 1845, came to Ohio and to Upper Sandusky.  Shortly afterward he located in Marion.  He is now [October, 1898] retired from his profession of painter, fresco and granite artist - having worked on many large churches, cathedrals and public buildings during his career.  

Mrs. Lindsey's maiden name was Miss Keziah Jane Randall, she was born near Sandusky, Nov. 25, 1825.

Mr. & Mrs. Lindsey were blessed with three sons, Eugene D., Elmore H. and Harrie W., all of whom reside in Mansfield.  In the fall of 1864, Mr. Lindsey and family moved to Galion, where he resided until September, 1869, when they moved to Mansfield, and have resided there since.  

The couple are members of the Presbyterian church, and Mr. Lindsey has been a member of the Odd Fellows for nearly 52 years, having joined Kosciusko Lodge, No. 58, I.O.O.F. of Marion, Jan. 18, 1847.  He joined the Mizpah Encampment, No. 50, of Marion, May 14, 1852, and was a charter member of the Canton Mansfield, No. 6, Patriarchs Militant, which was instituted Dec. 19, 1885.
