"The photograph ... shows the Bellville people who have been making and attending the Bellville Summer Bible school and who by their effort and painstaking work have made it such a complete success.  The picture shows the Rev. William F. Mellott (at the left), who was assisted b the Rev. W.E. Williams (on the right).  

In the top row are:  Mrs. Mellott, Mrs. R.B. Young, Mrs. L.B. Paste, Mrs. Martha Growden, the Misses Leona Bigbee, Frances Jackson and Pauline Charles and Mrs. Arthur Sprowls, all of whom placed a part in making the school , which has just closed for the season a big success.

The school was financed through the contributions of:  Charles Palm, Dr. F.G. Jackson, Dr. J.W. Kelly, Mrs. Katherine Evarts, Mrs. Laura Stofer, Mrs. Frank Shafer, E.B. Groff, Mrs. D.J. Bemiller, Postmaster Glenn F. Shaffer, L.B. Paste, R.B. Young, Mrs. Amy Hirsh, H.L. Bigbee, and William Kauf, as well as by contributions of lesser amounts from others.  

The total expenses for the class were but $42.68 and a balance of $10.50 is now on deposit towards the support of a school for next summer."
