RODGERS, J. H.
(DATED: 18 February 1909)
Again has the grim,
gaunt, spectre, death, come amongst us and taken one of our well known
citizens, Rev. J.H. Rodgers, who died at Bourbon, Ind., Thursday last
where he and his family had gone to visit relatives. The summons came
suddenly, rheumatism of the heart being the cause of death. His remains
were brought to his home here Saturday. Funeral services from the
Presbyterian church Sunday at 3 p.m., after which his remains were laid
to their final rest in Antwerp cemetery. The I.O.O.F of this place, of
which he was a member, had charge of the services.
