Formed in 1806 from Trumbull County, Geauga County is rich in pioneer heritage. It is our plan to make this into a location where you can find information and resources for your genealogical research. We hope you enjoy your visit and will find something you can use. Be sure to visit us often, as we will be updating and adding to our resources. Please note: I do not live in Ohio, and do not have any better access to Geauga County records than you do. Check the links on this page for what records are available in the Ohio Archives for Geauga County, and what others have donated to this Project. Park St., Chardon, OH 44024 (440-285-7601) The room is open Monday through Thursday, 9-9; Friday and Saturday 9-5. During school terms, the library is open Friday 9-6 and Sunday 1-5. There are handouts to guide the researcher through the extensive collection.
