Mrs. Lucy B. Warlaumont, 89, died Friday about 6 P.M. at the
home of a son, Glenn Warlaumont, near New Market. She fell and broke her hip about 10 weeks ago
and never fully recovered. She was the
widow of Harry Warlaumont; the daughter of Eli and
Amy Davis Rhoads and was born in Highland County, Dec. 3, 1870.
Funeral Services were held Monday at 2 P. M., Evans Funeral Home with burial
following in New Market Baptist Cemetery. Rev. C. H. Jacobson was in charge of
the service.
In addition to her son, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ella Warlaumont, Hillsboro, and Mrs. Mercia
Moore and Mrs. Dora Tuck, both of Hillsboro Rural routes, five grandchildren
and 15 great grand-children.
