Jack Allen Whiting

Jack
Allen Whiting, 62, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at his
home.
He
was born Nov. 13, 1948 in Hillsboro, the son of Homer Vincent and
Martha Jane Wilson Whiting.
Mr.
Whiting had worked for the Coca-Cola Company for nine years and as
a machinist for the Hobart Corporation for 24 years. He was a 1966
graduate of Hillsboro
High School.
He
is survived by his wife, [omitted] whom he
married Aug. 8, 1970; three children, [omitted]; eight grandchildren,
[omitted] and his mother, [omitted].
He
was preceded in death by his father, Homer V. Whiting.
Services
will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17 at the Turner &
Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro with James Grandey presiding. Burial will
follow in the New Market Baptist Cemetery.
Friends
may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
