Joan Stockwell

Joan (Jacobs) Stockwell, formerly of Lynchburg, died Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Villa Spring of Erlanger, Ky. nursing center.

She is survived by her husband, [name omitted]; two brothers, [names omitted]; two sons, [names omitted]; two daughters-in-law; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were one brother, Donald Jacobs, and her parents, Dorothy and Lloyd Jacobs.

She was a homemaker, bank teller of Banc Ohio in Wilmington, and part owner of Stockwell Antiques in her later years. When residing in Lynchburg, she had been a member of the Homemakers Club and Three Arts. Her specialty, as many knew, was making pies.

Her wishes were to be cremated with no service. She will be interred at Mount Zion Cemetery, Highland County.
