Stockwell
Joan (Jacobs) Stockwell, formerly of Lynchburg, died Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Villa Spring of Erlanger, Ky. nursing center. She is survived by her husband, [name omitted]; two brothers, [names omitted]; two sons, [names omitted]; two daughters-in-law; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were one brother, Donald Jacobs, and her parents, Dorothy and Lloyd Jacobs. She was a homemaker, bank teller of Banc Ohio in Wilmington, and part owner of Stockwell Antiques in her later years. When residing in Lynchburg, she had been a member of the Homemakers Club and Three Arts. Her specialty, as many knew, was making pies. Her wishes were to be cremated with no service.
