Jeff Holbrook Jeff Holbrook, 51, of the Danville area, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006 as the result of a farm accident. He was born April 26, 1955 in Wilmington, the son of LaVerne Holbrook and LuAnne (Stubbs) Holbrook. On Aug. 9, 1980 he married [name omitted], who survives. Jeff was a member of the Union Church of Christ. He was also a Hamer Township trustee, member of the Highland County Fair Board, a former FSA county committeeman and a member of the Soil and Water District board. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law,[names omitted] one daughter and son-in-law, [names omitted] and his parents, LaVerne and LuAnne Holbrook, all of the Danville area; sister and brother-in-law, [names omitted]; father-in-law, [names omitted]; and many nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mildred K. "Millie" West. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31 at the Union Church of Christ on N. Taylorsville Rd. near Hillsboro, with Pastor Andrew Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30 at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Union Church of Christ Building Fund, 3021 N. Taylorsville Rd., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
