Mrs. Pearl Custer, 81, of New Market died at 3:30 A. M. Monday at Highlands Community Hospital after a week-long illness.

 

She is the widow of the late Frank Custer. She was born in Adams County, the daughter of Milton and Ruth Troutman Storer. She has lived in the county nearly all her life.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 at the New Market Baptist Church. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. Rev. D. L. Blickenstaff will officiate, along with Rev. Clifford Jacobson.

 

Friends may call at the Evans Funeral Home noon Tuesday until the funeral hour.

 

She is survived by five daughters. Miss Ruby Custer and Miss Anna Custer at home, Miss Nellie Fenner, Hillsboro, Mrs. Ruth Williamson, Seaman; Mrs. Mary Upp, Worthington, four sons, Floyd at home, Galen, New Market, Charles, of Defiance, Hugh of Huntington, Ind., two sisters, Mrs. I. C. Plummer, Newark, and Mrs. S. E. Jones, of Clayton. She also leaves two brothers, M. E. Storer, Saint Joe, Ind., and J. C. Storer, Martinsville; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren survive her.
