4. On Sat I thrashd wheet. it was mostly clear. the wind was SW. David Meley came here in the evening, a Jersey man.
5. On Sunday I went to uncle Joels to meeting. Mr Pitinger preachd from st. Peter V & 8 and in the evening to uncle Jonathans to society. it was mostly clear. the wind W.
6. on Mon I fell a tee & went to uncle Joels to an examination whare the youth repeated the catechise. cloudy. the wind SW.

27. on Mon I went with Mr Hutchens to Mr Houghams whare he preachd from st John SIV & 6 then went to Mr Coonses. Mr Hutchens preachd from Peter II & 7 first part of the verse. we stade all night. it was clear. the wind was SW. thawd.
28. on Tues we went to Mr Marshes to meeting whare Mr Hutchens preachd from Malichi III & 16-17 then Mr Ellrodd from st Peter IV & 18 thencame home. it was clear. the wind was SW.

February, 1812
Feb th 1. On Sat I went to James Morrow and got a hog. It weighed 150 at $2.50 per hundred. then carted some wood and put a trough in the stable.Went to singing school in the evening.
2. on Sun I went to Reubens to Society. part cloudy. the wind S.
3. on Mon I finishd writeing a letter to father & put it in the post. it raind hard part of the day. the wind W.
4. on Tues I fell an ash tree & made some shugar troves & went & got my mare shod. it ws clear. the wind SW.
5. On Wed I went & lookd up my calves that had run away then cut & sleded some fire wood. was clear. the wind SW.
6. on Thurs I made 13 shugar troves. it wa clear. the wind SW.
7. On Fri I went to Nathaniel Popes. uncle Jonathan went with me. we went to Mr. Coonses & put up for the night. it came on to snow towards night. the wind E.
8. On Sat I started and came through Hillsburrrough & got home a little after noon. Reuben & wife came a visiting. it was part clear. wind W. snow about 3 inched deep.
9. on Sun we had society at our house. it was clear. the wind SW. pleasant.
10. On Mon I went to Chritian Blooms about 6 miles. it came on to rain and snowd. wind SE. snowd in the night 4 inches deep.
11. on Tues I shod my sled & helpd Reuben thrash wheet. it was clear. NW.
12. on Wed I helpd Reuben thrash & clen up his wheet & fetchd home the straw which I gave a bushel of corn for. it was clear & cool. wind N.
13. On Thurs I bought a deer of James Morrow for 75 cents & skind it then went and carted or sleded firewood for Ozwell. it was cloudy. the wind SW. raind a little.

Mr Coons Mr Hutchings & myself then I went to Mr Husams & stade all night. it was clear & warm. wind was SW.

Oh that the Lord will bless us as a church and add to our numbers of such we will save. then came home & Mr Ellrodd & brother Records with me. it was clear. the wind SE.

3. on Tues I helpd uncle Joel clean some wheet & carted my wheet stack to his barn.it was clear. the wind W.

On Sat I went to the meeting house again & Mr Elrodd preachd from the 133 Psalm & 1 vers. then we sot in a Convention to consult the expedeancy of forming an association & concluded to form one. then went to Mr Dones & stade all night again. it was showry. the wind was SW. in the evening Mr Hutchings preachd from Rev II & 1 then Mr Ellrod from Math XI & 28. there were mesingers from 7 churches.
