| January, 1804 January 1 1804. On Sun I stade at home & red. It was a very rainy day. 2. On mon I wove at daddys on my peace. 3. On tues I wove & went to prayer meeting at the meeting house. 4. On wed I wove & got out the peace. it was 20 1/2 yds long flannel. 5. On thurs I thrashd wheet. J P helpd me. 6. On fri I thrashd wheet & cleand up 8 1/2 bus & took my cloth to the mill to be fulld. 7. On SAt I went to hanns saw mill & brought home a lode of pine slabs. 8. On Sun I stade at home & red. 9. On mon pidled about. 10. On tues I cut a little wood. 11. On wed I workd in the swamp. 12. On thurs I thrashd wheet. D P helpd me. 13. On fri I cut a little wood & went to bridgetown. 14. On Sat I cleand up 5 bus of wheet & got a lode of wood. 15. On Sun I went to meeting. Mr Sm text was in psalms 17 & 15. then Mr Groom spoke from XVII psalm 30. 16. On mon I deresd a little flax & workd at the cow yard. 17. On tues I cut out & closd a pare of lace boots for myself. 18. On wed I made my boots. 19. On thurs I cut some wood in the swamp & cut out a pare of shoes for Charles. 20. On fri I went up the swamp a guning & cild 2 squerrels & then soald a pare of shoes for uncle Joel. 21. On Sat I went up the swamp a guning & cilld 1 raggit & 1 quail & then carted a lode of wood. 22. On Sun I went to meeting. Mr O Jones preachd from Isai XLV & 22. 23. On Sun I went to meeting. Mr Sm text was in 2 timothy 11 & 19. last wednesday I took a letter out of the offis from Samuel who is at or near princetown. price 10 cents. 24. On mon I soald my boots & got a hay stack into the barn. there was a snow this morning 3 inches deep. 25. On fri we started at 1/2 past 3 from the cake house & got to the ferry before sun rise then crosd & sold our market stuff. it was midling good markets. 29. On sat we got our things & started over the river about 11 oclock & started from the ferry about 1/2 past 12 & came to carpentors bridge & fed then to the poul & fed then came home. got here about 1/2 past 11. 30.
