MALOTT
Celeste Pollock MALOTT of Blanchester died January 8, 2002 at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis H. Malott. Mrs. Malott was born June 9, 1912 in New Haven, Ohio. The first daughter of Jerome Tice and Clara V. Pollock, she was a member of the Ashera Rebekah Lodge 797, the Newtonsville United Methodist Church, Goshen Historical Society and various religious and social groups. For many years she served as a Sunday School superintendent and teacher, as well as a 4-H Club advisor. Travel, reading, family and friends were her lifelong joy She is survived by four children; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter, and a sister. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Pollock, and a sister, Marie Hapner. Memorial services were held at the Newtonsville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. James A. Wise officiating. The Evans Funeral Home, 1944 SR 28, Goshen, is serving the family. McQUEEN Rosella G. McQUEEN, 90, of Blanchester, died Monday (January 7, 2002) at Continental Manor, Blanchester. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, the Rev. McQueen of Blanchester. Mrs. McQueen was born March 4, 1911, in Crab Orchard, Ky., daughter of the late Frank Smith and Sarah Brown. She was a member of the Blanchester Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald McQueen; three brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services were held at the Church of the Nazarene, Blanchester, Brother Crisp presiding, with burial in Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Blanchester. Extracted from Wilington News-Journal MOORE Illene (Brown) MOORE of Sabina, formerly of Milford, died Monday June 3, at Autumn Years nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband John B. Moore. Mrs. Moore was born September 6, 1924 near Martinsville, the daughter of Alva and Rose (Holton) Brown. She was a retired housewife and is survived by a former husband, Ralph H. Long. Also surviving are two daughters; a son; Two brothers; and a sister; seven grandchildren and seven great -grandchildren. She was proceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at the Littleton funeral home. The Rev. Mark Hubbard will officiate. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday June 5. MURPHY Minnie MURPHY, 87, of Blanchester, died Friday (October 12, 2001) at Clermont Mercy Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Murphy. Mrs. Murphy was born June 14, 1914, in Owlsley County, Ky., daughter of the late John and Sarah Roberts Reed. She is survived by nine children; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a brother; and a sister.
