Quaker - Friends Cemetery
Town of Hector, Schuyler co., NY
List composed by William E. Fenton.
This is considered the most up-to-date list which is
kept on file in the local historical society.
"Visited April 1997. From Perry City go north toward
Trumansburg.
Watch for Brook Road on the right. Go .1 mile from there and
the cemetery
is on the left (West) side of the road about 100 yards out in a
grove of tall locust trees.
(There is an open field on the north edge of the Cem). It
isn’t visible from the road.
Some additional names (6) can be obtained from the books "Some
Cemeteries Between
The Lakes". Anything in ( )
is not on the stones and should be checked.
Other records say that Quaker Cemeteries have simple stones or stones
with no marks at all.
Any lines with an * after them were names that were not seen - that
information
came from the old DAR Records."

There are supposed to be head stones with the initials, H W, &
A B C & also 17 - 18 headstones with no initials on them. We
did not see the above initials but we did see stones with the initials
C L C, C B, E B, C W, S M W and three stones which
were headstones one that only said “Hallock” and the other two had the
initials D M S and H S.
