Found in the attic of the Montour Falls Library.

This book is 8x12 in size.
Inside the first cover is written:

"Account of Papers and Pamphlets
received at this office after date July 1st 1843."

The very first page has the following;
"This da. bought of Chas Mathews his half of Lumber saved at J. B. Buddle's [Bodle's ?]Mill
with Phinix’s? being about five and one half thousand feet at $7 1/2 dollars for the merchantale
and half price for calls delivered at the lake by 1st day next."

After this line is written as follows:
"This day Jany 9, 1847 contracted with Jeremy ATWATER for 4 piles lumber at his Mill in all
supposed take about 40,000 feet at $6 1/4 per feet. He guarantees that then is more Lumber
in the piles better than what is called common stuff merchantoth? than there is culls/calls."
