of NY. Whereas Hiram J. Aber of said town in the county of
Schuyler, aforesaid, a minor of the age of fourteen years, hath made application
unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at his office in said County
and prayed that David Wakeman of the town of Dix...might be appointed
Guardian of the said minor; and the said David Wakeman, having consented
to become the Guardian of the said minor, whereupon such proceedings
were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered
by said County Judge, that the said David Wakeman be appointed Guardian
of said minor, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to
be approved by our said County Judge to the said Hiram J. Aber
in the penal sum of one thousand dollars, lawful money of the State of
NY, conditional that the said Guardian will faithfully in all things, discharge
the duty of Guardian to said minor according to law and under a true and
just account of all moneys and property received by the said Guardian,
and of the application thereof, and of his guardianship aforesaid in all
respects, to any court having cognizance thereof, when thereunto required;
And whereas the said David Wakeman has, on this 1st day of March
AD 1855, appeared before our said County Judge and produced unto him
the said Bond above required to be given by said Guardian, executed in
due form of law, with good and sufficient security, which said Bond is
now filed in the office of our said County Judge. I therefore, the
County Judge, aforesaid, do hereby constitute and appoint you the said

Wakeman Guardian of the said minor, until the said minor shall arrive
at the age of Twenty-One years, or until another Guardian shall be appointed

of Yates...might be appointed Guardian of the said minor; and the said

aforesaid, through David Perry his maternal uncle, a minor under

of our County of Schuyler at Watkins in said County and prayed that David
Perry of the town of Dix, in the County of Schuyler...might be appointed
Guardian of the said minor; and the said David Perry, having consented
to become the Guardian of the said minor, whereupon such proceedings
were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered
by said County Judge, that the said David Perry be appointed Guardian

of Bradford, in the County of Steuben...might be appointed Guardian of
the said minor; and the said Abel Eveland, having consented to become

County Judge, that the said Abel Eveland be appointed Guardian of

Niverson of the town of Hector...might be appointed Guardian of the

The Surrogate Court, held at Watkins, in ana for the County of Schuyler,
on the 14th day of May in the year 1910. Present Hon. Olin
T. Nye Surrogate. Application for appointment of an Administrator
of the goods, chattels and estate of Jay C. Ackley, dec'd. In
having been made satisfactorily to appear to the said Surrogate's Court
holder before the said Surrogate, that Frances Ackley, Harold Ackley
and Arley Ackley and Leah Ackley, the heirs at law of the said Jay
C. Ackley deceased; that they are infants under the age of twenty-one
years, and that they have no general Guardian. And Waldo F. Bishop
of the town of Reading, in the County of Schuyler, having consented to
act as the special Guardian of the said infants in the premises, which
consent is duly filed in the Surrogate's office of said County. It
is therefore ordered, that the said Waldo F. Bishop be, and he is
hereby appointed, the special Guardian of the said infants for the purpose
of appearing for them and taking care of their interest in this matter.
In testimony whereof, the said Surrogate hath hereunto set his hand and
the Surrogate's seal of office at Watkins aforesaid, the said 14th day
