To David Wakeman of the town of Dix, County of Schuyler, State of NY.  Whereas Hiram J. Aber of said town in the county of Schuyler, aforesaid, a minor of the age of fourteen years, hath made application unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at his office in said County and prayed that David Wakeman of the town of Dix...might be appointed Guardian of the said minor; and the said David Wakeman, having consented to become the Guardian of the said  minor, whereupon such proceedings were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered by said County Judge, that the said David Wakeman be appointed Guardian of said minor, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to be approved by our said County Judge to the  said Hiram J. Aber in the penal sum of one thousand dollars, lawful money of the State of NY, conditional that the said Guardian will faithfully in all things, discharge the duty of Guardian to said minor according to law and under a true and just account of all moneys and property received by the said Guardian, and of the application thereof, and of his guardianship aforesaid in all respects, to any court having cognizance thereof, when thereunto required;  And whereas the said David Wakeman has, on this 1st day of March AD 1855, appeared before our said County Judge and produced unto him the said Bond above required to be given by said Guardian, executed in due form of law, with good and sufficient security, which said Bond is now filed in the office of our said County Judge.  I therefore, the County Judge, aforesaid, do hereby constitute and appoint you the said David Wakeman Guardian of the said minor, until the said minor shall arrive at the age of Twenty-One years, or until another Guardian shall be appointed for the said minor.  In testimony whereof, the said County Judge hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the seal of the Surrogate's office of the said County of Schuyler to be hereunto affixed.  Witness Simeon L. To Martin D. Hall of the town of Catharine, County of Schuyler, State of NY.  Whereas Adelia M. Cooper of Catharine in the county of Schuyler, aforesaid, a minor over the age of fourteen years, hath made application unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at Watkins in said County and prayed that Martin D. Hall of the town of Catharine...might be appointed Guardian of the said minor; and the said Martin D. Hall, having consented to become the Guardian of the said  minor, whereupon such proceedings were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered by said County Judge, that the said Martin D. Hall be appointed Guardian of said minor, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to be approved by our said County Judge to the said Adelia M. Cooper in the sum of three hundred dollars, lawful money of the State of NY, conditional that the said Guardian will faithfully in all things, discharge the duty of Guardian to said minor according to law and under a true and just account of all moneys and property received by the said Guardian, and of the application thereof, and of his guardianship aforesaid in all respects, to any court having cognizance thereof, when thereunto required;  And whereas the said Martin D. Hall has, on this 22nd day of March AD 1855, appeared before our said County Judge and produced unto him the said Bond above required to be given by said Guardian, executed in due form of law, with good and sufficient security, which said Bond is now filed in the office of our said County Judge.  I therefore, the County Judge, aforesaid, do hereby constitute and appoint you the said Martin D. Rumsey of the town of Catharine, County of Schuyler, State of NY.  Whereas Sally Lockerby of the town of Cayuta in the county of Schuyler, aforesaid, a minor over the age of fourteen years, hath made application unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at Watkins in said County and prayed that John H. Rumsey of the town of Catharine...might be appointed Guardian of the said minor; and the said John H. Rumsey, having consented to become the Guardian of the said  minor, whereupon such proceedings were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered by said County Judge, that the said John H. Rumsey be appointed Guardian of said minor, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to be approved by our said County Judge to the said Sally Lockerby in the sum of one thousand dollars, lawful money of the State of NY, conditional that the said Guardian will faithfully in all things, discharge the duty of Guardian to said minor according to law and under a true and just account of all moneys and property received by the said Guardian, and of the application thereof, and of his guardianship aforesaid in all respects, to any court having cognizance thereof, when thereunto required;  And whereas the said John H. To David Perry of the town of Dix, County of Schuyler, State of NY.  Whereas Thomas Ellis of Dix in the county of Schuyler, aforesaid, through David Perry his maternal uncle, a minor under the age of fourteen years, hath made application unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at Watkins in said County and prayed that David Perry of the town of Dix, in the County of Schuyler...might be appointed Guardian of the said minor; and the said David Perry, having consented to become the Guardian of the said  minor, whereupon such proceedings were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered by said County Judge, that the said David Perry be appointed Guardian of said minor, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to be approved by our said County Judge to the said Thomas Ellis in the sum of two thousand dollars, lawful money of the State of NY, conditional that the said Guardian will faithfully in all things, discharge the duty of Guardian to said minor according to law and under a true and just account of all moneys and property received by the said Guardian, and of the application thereof, and of his guardianship aforesaid in all respects, to any court having cognizance thereof, when thereunto required;  And whereas the said David Perry has, on this 22nd day of August AD 1856, appeared before our said County Judge and produced unto him the said Bond above required to be given by said Guardian, executed in due form of law, with good and sufficient security, which said Bond is now filed in the office of our said County Judge.  I therefore, the County Judge, aforesaid, do hereby constitute and appoint you the said David Perry Guardian of the said minor, until the said minor shall arrive at the age of fourteen years, or until another Guardian shall be appointed for the said minor.  In testimony whereof, the said County Judge hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the seal of the Surrogate's office of the said County of Schuyler to be hereunto affixed.  Witness Simeon L. To Rachel Smith of the town of Hector, County of Schuyler, State of NY.  Whereas Rachel Smith of Hector in the county of Schuyler, aforesaid, that Ophelia Smith, Orlando T. Smith & Mary Janet Smith are minors ___[blank] the age of fourteen years, hath made application unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at Watkins in said County and prayed that Rachel Smith of the town of Hector, in the County of Schuyler...might be appointed Guardian of the said minors; and the said Rachel Smith, having consented to become the Guardian of the said minors, whereupon such proceedings were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered by said County Judge, that the said Rachel Smith be appointed Guardian of said minors, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to be approved by our said County Judge to the said Ophelia Smith, Orlando T. To Abel Eveland of the town of Bradford, County of Steuben, State of NY.  Whereas Francis Marion Goltry of Orange, in the county of Schuyler, aforesaid,  a minor of the age of fourteen years, hath made application unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at Watkins in said County and prayed that Abel Eveland of the town of Bradford, in the County of Steuben...might be appointed Guardian of the said minor; and the said Abel Eveland, having consented to become the Guardian of the said  minor, whereupon such proceedings were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered by said County Judge, that the said Abel Eveland be appointed Guardian of said minor, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to be approved by our said County Judge to the said Francis Marion Goltry in the sum of three hundred dollars, lawful money of the State of NY, conditional that the said Guardian will faithfully in all things, discharge the duty of Guardian to said minor according to law and under a true and just account of all moneys and property received by the said Guardian, and of the application thereof, and of his guardianship aforesaid in all respects, to any court having cognizance thereof, when thereunto required;  And whereas the said Abel Eveland has, on this 9th day of December AD 1856, appeared before our said County Judge and produced unto him the said Bond above required to be given by said Guardian, executed in due form of law, with good and sufficient security, which said Bond is now filed in the office of our said County Judge.  I therefore, the County Judge, aforesaid, do hereby constitute and appoint you the said Abel Eveland Guardian of the said minor, until the said minor shall arrive at the age of twenty-one years, or until another Guardian shall be appointed for the said minor.  In testimony whereof, the said County Judge hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the seal of the Surrogate's office of the said County of Schuyler to be hereunto affixed.  Witness Simeon L. Owen of the town of Hector, County of Schuyler, State of NY.  Whereas Emily Owen of Hector, in the county of Schuyler, aforesaid, is a minor of the age of fourteen years, hath made application unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at Watkins in said County and prayed that Horace M. Owen of the town of Hector, in the County of Schuyler...might be appointed Guardian of the said minor; and the said Horace M. Owen, having consented to become the Guardian of the said  minor, whereupon such proceedings were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered by said County Judge, that the said Horace M. Owen be appointed Guardian of said minor, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to be approved by our said County Judge to the said Emily Owen in the sum of thirteen hundred dollars, lawful money of the State of NY, conditional that the said Guardian will faithfully in all things, discharge the duty of Guardian to said minor according to law and under a true and just account of all moneys and property received by the said Guardian, and of the application thereof, and of his guardianship aforesaid in all respects, to any court having cognizance thereof, when thereunto required;  And whereas the said Horace M. To Peter Obert of the town of Orange, County of Schuyler, State of NY.  Whereas Fanny Jane Demerst? of the county of Schuyler, aforesaid, is a minor over the age of fourteen years, hath made application unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at Watkins in said County and prayed that Peter Obert of the town of Orange, in the County of Schuyler...might be appointed Guardian of the said minor; and the said Peter Obert, having consented to become the Guardian of the said  minor, whereupon such proceedings were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered by said County Judge, that the said Peter Obert be appointed Guardian of said minor, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to be approved by our said County Judge to the said  Fanny Jane Demerst? in the sum of eight hundred dollars, lawful money of the State of NY, conditional that the said Guardian will faithfully in all things, discharge the duty of Guardian to said minor according to law and under a true and just account of all moneys and property received by the said Guardian, and of the application thereof, and of his guardianship aforesaid in all respects, to any court having cognizance thereof, when thereunto required;  And whereas the said Peter Obert has, on this 21st (or 31st) day of December AD 1856, appeared before our said County Judge and produced unto him the said Bond above required to be given by said Guardian, executed in due form of law, with good and sufficient security, which said Bond is now filed in the office of our said County Judge.  I therefore, the County Judge, aforesaid, do hereby constitute and appoint you the said Peter Obert Guardian of the said minor, until the said minor shall arrive at the age of twenty-one, or until another Guardian shall be appointed for the said minor.  In testimony whereof, the said County Judge hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the seal of the Surrogate's office of the said County of Schuyler to be hereunto affixed.  Witness Simeon L. To Nelson Niverson of the town of Hector, County of Schuyler, State of NY.  Whereas Burnitt Elliott, Dorothy Elliot & Anne Elliott of Hector in the county of Schuyler, aforesaid, are minors over the age of fourteen years, hath made application unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at Watkins in said County and prayed that Nelson Niverson of the town of Hector...might be appointed Guardian of the said minors; and the said Nelson Niverson, having consented to become the Guardian of the said minors, whereupon such proceedings were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered by said County Judge, that the said Nelson Niverson be appointed Guardian of said minors, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to be approved by our said County Judge to the said Burnitt Elliott, Dorothy Elliott and Anne Elliott in the sum of four hundred dollars each, being in the aggregate the sum  of twelve hundred dollars, lawful money of the State of NY, conditional that the said Guardian will faithfully in all things, discharge the duty of Guardian to said minor according to law and under a true and just account of all moneys and property received by the said Guardian, and of the application thereof, and of his guardianship aforesaid in all respects, to any court having cognizance thereof, when thereunto required;  And whereas the said Nelson Niverson has, on this 13th day of February AD 1857, appeared before our said County Judge and produced unto him the said Bond above required to be given by said Guardian, executed in due form of law, with good and sufficient security, which said Bond is now filed in the office of our said County Judge.  I therefore, the County Judge, aforesaid, do hereby constitute and appoint you the said Nelson Niverson Guardian of the said minors, until the said minors shall arrive at the age of twenty-one, or until another Guardian shall be appointed for the said minors.  In testimony whereof, the said County Judge hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the seal of the Surrogate's office of the said County of Schuyler to be hereunto affixed...

Brown of the town of Hector, County of Schuyler, State of NY.  Whereas Samantha Elliott of Hector, in the county of Schuyler, aforesaid, the mother of Samantha Elliott who is a minor under the age of fourteen years, hath made application unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at Watkins in said County and prayed that Gideon C. Brown of the town of Hector, in the County of Schuyler...might be appointed Guardian of the said minor; and the said Gideon C. Brown, having consented to become the Guardian of the said  minor, whereupon such proceedings were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered by said County Judge, that the said Gideon C. Brown be appointed Guardian of said minor, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to be approved by our said County Judge to the said Samantha Elliott in the sum of seven hundred dollars, lawful money of the State of NY, conditional that the said Guardian will faithfully in all things, discharge the duty of Guardian to said minor according to law and under a true and just account of all moneys and property received by the said Guardian, and of the application thereof, and of his guardianship aforesaid in all respects, to any court having cognizance thereof, when thereunto required;  And whereas the said Gideon C. To Elijah Tracy of the town of Dix, County of Schuyler, State of NY.  Whereas Elizabeth Baker of Dix in the county of Schuyler, aforesaid, the mother of King J. Baker & Harriett E. Baker, the children of Philander J. Baker, deceased, who are minors under the age of fourteen years, hath made application unto the County Judge of our County of Schuyler at Watkins in said County and prayed that Elijah Tracy of the town of Dix...might be appointed Guardian of the said minor; and the said Elijah Tracy, having consented to become the Guardian of the said  minor, whereupon such proceedings were further had, that among other things an order was duly made and entered by said County Judge, that the said Elijah Tracy be appointed Guardian of said minor, on executing a Bond with good and sufficient security to be approved by our said County Judge to the said King J. Baker & Harriett E. The Surrogate Court, held at Watkins, in ana for the County of Schuyler, on the 14th day of May in the year 1910.  Present Hon. Olin T. Nye Surrogate.   Application for appointment of an Administrator of the goods, chattels and estate of Jay C. Ackley, dec'd.  In having been made satisfactorily to appear to the said Surrogate's Court holder before the said Surrogate, that Frances Ackley, Harold Ackley and Arley Ackley and Leah Ackley, the heirs at law of the said Jay C. Ackley deceased; that they are infants under the age of twenty-one years, and that they have no general Guardian.  And Waldo F. Bishop of the town of Reading, in the County of Schuyler, having consented to act as the special Guardian of the said infants in the premises, which consent is duly filed in the Surrogate's office of said County.  It is therefore ordered, that the said Waldo F. Bishop be, and he is hereby appointed, the special Guardian of the said infants for the purpose of appearing for them and taking care of their interest in this matter.  In testimony whereof, the said Surrogate hath hereunto set his hand and the Surrogate's seal of office at Watkins aforesaid, the said 14th day of May, 1910.  Olin T.
