White candelabra and baskets of white gladioli formed the background for the wedding Saturday, May 17, in the Methodist Church, Baldwinsville, of Miss Ruth Lois Scott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Lyndon Scott of Baldwinsville and Peter Richard Heilig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Heilig of 425 Elliot St.  The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Harry R. Reddick, grandfather of the bride, and the Rev. John Lewien.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white chantilly lace and nylon net gown with chapel train.  Her fingertip veil was attached to a lace cap trimmed with orange blossoms, worn by her mother on her wedding day.  She carried white sweetheart roses centered with orchids.

The attendants were Mrs. William Auyer, Miss Marie Cole, Miss Mary Jane Brady, Miss Helen Gates, Miss Katherine Ann Kinslo and Miss Louise Chappell.

Richard Bourne of Oswego was best man.  Donald Heilig, brother of the bridegroom, William Reddick of Canton, John Townley, Stewart Sanderson and Alan Baker were ushers.  George Reddick was ring bearer.

A reception was given in the Scott home before the couple left for a motor trip to Cape Cod, Mass.
