Miss Anna Barlow and Peter H. Foertch were married at Holy Trinity
Church Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Rev. John Reuland.
Miss Elizabeth Weingartner of Binghamton and Miss Edna Boysen were
the bridesmaids. Frank Koegel was best man and Charles Buchler
acted as usher. Miss Bertha Buehler was the flower girl and Carl
Mertens traybearer.
Following the wedding a supper was served on the lawn of the
groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter P. Foertch of 409 Helen
Street. The decorations were carried out in palms and
roses. Guests at the supper numbered 75. Mr. and Mrs.
Foertch are on a motor trip to Niagara Falls and other points in the
western part of the state.
The groom is well known in athletic circles, being a member of the
Syracuse parks tennis team and former holder of the singles title at
Schiller park. He was also a member of the football and baseball
teams of North High School several years ago.
