BRIDE OF EIGHTEEN

Miss Mabel J. Wright Celebrates Birthday by Securing License


East Syracuse, November 29 - Miss Mabel Jessie WRIGHT of Eastwood,
daughter of Mrs. Jessie WRIGHT, celebrated her eighteenth birthday
yesterday by taking out a marriage license.  The groom to be, is William
Edward CLARK of East Syracuse.  The wedding, it  was stated by the
parties most interested, would be solemnized some time Monday.

The young bride is the eldest of a family of seven children.  On April
26th, 1912, her father, Bertrand WRIGHT was killed near Thompson's
crorssing on the New York Central railroad, leaving a widow and six
children.  Another child was born about two* months after the death of
the of the husband and father.  The prospective bride was born November
28th, 1895, she stated in her application for a license.
