STEWART Surname in Onondaga County, NY

James & Sarah Wright Stewart, arrived in 1819 (members of the Manlius
Presbyterian) with one child, Robert Wright b.1816, Johnstown, NY. James was
Elder, Deacon & founder of the Fayetteville Presbyterian, 1829. He was a
wagon maker with shop across street from Chruch in Manlius Four
Corners(Fayetteville). They had spent three years at the Oneida Indian
Reservation, Oneida County. Had three other male children who attended the
Fayetteville Academy, William, John & James Milton, and a daughter, Eunice
Jane. All were members of the Fayetteville Presbyterian church.

James' brother, Alexander & Margaret Stewart were also members of the
church. As well as Sarah's sister, Ann Wright & husband, Stephen E. Hulbert.

They all left by 1841, immigrating to Hebron, McHenry, Illinois.
