Postcard photo of School District No. 9, Cicero, NY - students, teacher,
and schoolhouse, circa 1912. Where the schoolhouse was once located is today
part of Hancock International Airport land, south of and near the intersection
of Taft Road and Kreischer Road, North Syracuse.
In my grandmother's handwriting (Clara Etta Kreischer Lipke) I find the following
identifications:
Front row, left to right: Henry Badgley, Alfred Kreischer (her brother),
Frank Kohring, Fred Root, Shorty Groboske, Jack Lipke and "Buster" [the dog],
Andrew Root, Alex Kohring, Albert Groboske, Henry Marr, Brown kids--new,
Fred Dusky, Don't Know.
