were in the possession of Mary Hinsdale and husband Charles A. Baker. Both
were born in the Town of Camillus, and married in Amboy. Mary Hinsdale
1837-1905; Charles Baker 1836-1909
If these people
are ever identified, I can provide pics to descendants.

The picture of the young man says Smith, Syracuse, NY (photographer?)
The picture of the lady says George H. Dygert, Artist, Jordan, NY
These surnames that are allied to Baker/Hinsdale in Onon. Co. for possible
clues to these pics are Peck, Ellis, Parker, Knox, Larkin, Bates, Sperry,
Cook, Evans, Cole.

The lady with the hat, was a tintype pic., so pic taken in the 1860's. She
died Aug. 26, 1891.
Young girl with wavy hair, lace ruffing collar, broad nose. Photog.

The girl with the hat - Photog. Goodwin 60 S. Salina St. Syracuse.
Note that the address of Ranger and Austin and the address of Goodwin are
all 60 S. Salina St., so one photog. may have gone out of business and the
other took his place. This would be helpful in dating the pic.
The lady with the big necklace and earrings: Winter's Art Gallery 6 S. Salina
St. Syracuse. This lady possibly Jennie Ellis who married 1873 to Alfred
Hinsdale.

The man with the beard and the lady with large dark bow in front and a ribbon
hanging down her back or a flaw that looks like a ribbon. Both photos have
oval frame. They possibly husb. and wf. Both photos taken at Ranger
and Austen, 58 and 60 S. Salina St., Syracuse.

This poss. a pic sent to mother Townsend because the only Townsend in the
family was Ann Peck 1816-1877, who m1. Ira Hinsdale and m2. Justus Townsend.
All res. Camillus/Amboy area.

The old lady in unkpic9 cannot be Ann Peck Hinsdale Townsend because she
died at 61 yrs. Thus, I believe she was Mary (McCracken) Hinsdale 1789-1883,
d. Amboy, Onon. Co. at 94 yrs.

This couple were Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Parker in the first yr of their married
life. Belongs to the Parker/Knox family of Onon. Co. Camillus and Skaneateles.
