FABIUS, a Post-Township in the SE. extremity of Onondaga Co. being 20 miles SE. of of Onondaga County, 50 miles SW. of Utica, and 125 W. from Albany; bounded N. by Pompey, E. by Cazenovia and Deruyter in the County of Madison, S. by Cortlandt County, and W. by Tully. It includes the N. half of the Military Township of Fabius, the S. half of which has been erected into the town of Truxton, in Cortlandt County; it is 10 miles in length from E. to W., and 5 in breadth.
