Onondaga County - Octagon Schoolhouse Cemetery aka Otisco Southern

Located near the southwest corner of Route 80 and Octagon Rd. in Otisco on Lot 4.

An octagon schoolhouse, Otisco District #4, was located on the north side of Lot 4, 1.5 miles south of Otisco. 103 rods of land was deeded to the school district for $15.00 in 1841. This may have been the second building on the site dating from the late 1850's or early 1860's. Photo from the Archives of the Onondaga Historical Association.
