Williams, Jennie -Robert Williams was born in Denoigt, North Wales, June 7, 1815, and came to the United States in 1849, settling in Batavia. He married Ann, daughter of John Coville; they had two daughters: Annie and Jennie. Mr. Williams was one of the best informed men on horticulture in Western New York. His death, which occurred May 27, 1897, was a serious loss not only to his family, but to the community.
