Harry White, a native of Massachusetts, settled on road 5, on the farm owned by B. H. Bean. He was a soldier in the War of 1812, and his widow, Orpha, now draws a pension. She lives with her son Albert H. who is a wagon maker, and carries on that business in Morganville. Albert H. married Fannie Cash, of Stafford, by whom he has one child, Fannie.
