BIOGRAPHY

FRANK EASTMAN JONES - OF LE ROY NY

Frank Eastman Jones taught art at Ingam Institute in LeRoy NY in the late 19th century. He is buried in Le Roy at the Macphelah Cemetery and has an artist's pallette on his tomebstone. He painted the picture at left. It is a watercolor of a sailboat under full sail measures 17" X 6" and entitled "Wings of the Wind" and is signed in the lower left and is undated. It was painted circa 1894.
